SEing a Desk? - SteezyDubz - 04-03-2023

Planning on buying a 350$ desk from Thomann. It's a Studio desk. Has anybody here had success refunding a desk/furniture ? Whats my best method, i think I am going to DNA.

Ive seen people have luck claiming damage by either sending in PS'd images or sending in pics of broken wood the same colour.

Doesn't the retailer then request it to be returned?
If the damage is severe then I can imagine not as much.

Depends on the company.
I've been refunding furniture for the past 6 months using the damaged method, if the furniture is heavily damaged (thanks to photoshop), it's not worth the trouble for the company to have the customer return the item.

Nice. I am in the need for furniture as well.
Guess the challenge with PS'ing it, is to make the damage look natural.
Are you mainly shopping damage to wood or leather as well?

Would be nice to get some pallets of marble or other high prices tiles but don't have the equipment to move it in an effective way.

Yes i believe they are based in the UK. I checked terms on the site they don't state if they are liable for lost goods.

Nice, do you photoshop it yourself? Because Ive been looking for someone with PS skills. Also, have you done it on wood type furniture? I might claim damages with the desk if it seems cake

The posts I read were specific to wayfair who apparently do not want to pay the expense of having broken furniture shipped back to them. I think you are correct though you need to make the damage look as if there is no way it is salvageable.
