Where to sell SEd items - Connor27 - 03-28-2023 I’ve SEd 2 pairs of AirPods 3rd Gen worth 180 RP in my first 20 days of refunding, but having trouble selling them. There are brand new and sealed. In fact I haven’t even opened Amazon box for one of them lol. Where can I sell for near RP? RE: Where to sell SEd items - Akoz - 03-28-2023 Facebook Market Place and eBay are my go too. Always people buying on those. RE: Where to sell SEd items - Connor27 - 03-28-2023 (03-28-2023, 10:54 PM)Akoz Wrote: Facebook Market Place and eBay are my go too. Always people buying on those. EBay take quite a lot from fees, and I struggle to find any one interested in Facebook marketplace RE: Where to sell SEd items - Akoz - 03-28-2023 (03-28-2023, 10:58 PM)Connor27 Wrote:(03-28-2023, 10:54 PM)Akoz Wrote: Facebook Market Place and eBay are my go too. Why would someone buy RRP from you on ebay when they can buy brand new with warranty RE: Where to sell SEd items - Connor27 - 03-28-2023 (03-28-2023, 11:18 PM)Akoz Wrote:(03-28-2023, 10:58 PM)Connor27 Wrote:(03-28-2023, 10:54 PM)Akoz Wrote: Facebook Market Place and eBay are my go too. I’ll keep an eye out for the eBay 1 pound sale RE: Where to sell SEd items - hacxx - 03-28-2023 (03-28-2023, 10:50 PM)Connor27 Wrote: I’ve SEd 2 pairs of AirPods 3rd Gen worth 180 RP in my first 20 days of refunding, but having trouble selling them. Last one was literally this past weekend - either they have 80% off fees or max £2 on fees. Also, airpods are one of the most counterfeited products on the market, so people will be weary when looking to buy them off of someone. Facebook Marketplace is another option, but typically many, many scammers on there. Can see them from a mile away. They always ask for your email when you tell them you want payment via bank transfer....fake bank emails lol RE: Where to sell SEd items - jefff - 03-29-2023 Community groups on Facebook, preferably those where the main topic is selling electronics. Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, Nextdoor, OfferUp, etc. - the downside, like you mentioned, is that it can take a while to get a sale there. If you're in a hurry, drop your price - you did get it for free, after all, so it's not like you're at a loss. If you want a higher return, be prepared to wait. If you're getting zero bites for weeks, your price is too high - set your expectations realistically, no one is going to pay close to retail unless it's an item that is hard to get/out of stock locally. Check sold prices on the sites you're listing on, and check other people's active listings to see what you're up against. Good, detailed descriptions and photos are important, as well. I've sold items for 80% of retail that were easily obtainable locally because I had strong listings, pro-photos, etc. If you don't want to sell locally, you can try Mercari, Poshmark, Depop, eBay, and similar marketplaces to those - again, you will deal with fees, but you reach a larger audience. Of course, what you can sell where depends on the item/website. |
