If you like to tinker around, change settings, personalize and optimize - Samsung, otherwise iPhone.

Personally I prefer iPhone, though it's unsurprising that most around here prefer Samsung.

I have no. But I prefer iPads, from the first model.
Whole comparison is strange actually, Android can't provide all that functionally which iOS have. Because Apple it is computer + tablet + smartphone + watch + AR glasses + web and all of this on same code base, connected and share data. So no, any Android based device is worse than even 20 years old smartphone on WM2003 from Microsoft. Nothing impossibly to compare with iOS. In nearest future same functionality will propose only Harmony OS and Kaspersky OS (both for computers and devices; latest one also even for embedded systems).
Android OS - is only for people who don't know what is smartphone means and what it can and must to do.

If you want to use it simply, choose iPhone. If you want to take pictures with beautiful colors, choose Samsung
