best way to SE CPU ? - brianthedude557 - 03-26-2023

I've seen a lot of people do EB for cpu's. Im trying to go for the i9 12900k but the problem is its rarely in stock sold and shipped by amazon canada. The only other retailers are best buy and canada computers and Ive heard best buy is basically impossible nowawdays. My amazon account is in good standing the only se ive done was like 2 years ago and have thousands of $ in legit purchases. Could i just order the i9 from amazon US and ship it to my canadian adress and do the SE that way? if not does anyone have any experience SE'ing cpus from best buy, newegg, canada computers?

no neither of the ones im looking for are visible externally i guess im just a bit worried since its like 700ish cad, or does that not matter to the reps? Usually i just use the chat bot when its like 10:30am in india so I get an indian rep and it goes smooth

It's just within the mid value range, so there's no cause for concern.

It's just within the mid value range, so there's no cause for concern.

could you explain MEB? I see lots of people opting for that over EB I dont know whats the difference, like what should i tell the rep

MEB Is claiming the Item Is missing from the box - which Is precisely what you'd say to the representative.

EB Is claiming the entire goods are missing - box & Item enclosed.

the cpu is not visibly external
