Failed Amazon SE - Social-Engineering - 03-14-2023

Hello,
I had a failed DNA attempt on amazon.de.
I know that i can't both keep the items and get the money back, so i would like to send the items back and just get the money.
Does anyone know how i can do this? I've already talked with them and i told them that my items were missing, which they replied back with a message saying that i need to file a police report.

They want a PR. This doesn't mean the refund has failed. You can try and SE yourself around filing a PR. Use some imagination.

Dont fake a PR, Just fill out a PR and send them the confirmation. All they want to see is that you have filed the PR they don't really care about it.

I was actually going to do this, but one problem occurred.
I went down to pick up the packages myself at the pickup point (store), and im afraid that they'll check the CCTV footage.
Please help me, i already have an earlier thread about this where i explain the situation more in dept:

In the link above i got the whole email that they sent back to me.
They specifically told me that they'll first take care of this and do anything once the whole police report is closed, they dont want to help as long as it's an ongoing case...

Why did you DNA It when you're well aware of CCTV cameras In operation?

I've done it this way many times before, but this is the first time that they asked me to file a police report.
What can i do now? Is my only solution to send the items back? If yes how do i do this, i emailed them that i haven't received the items.
Thank you in advance for the help Smile

A request for a PR Is simply required to move forward with your claim.

However, there's always the possibility they'll cross-check CCTV footage.

Assuming they don't check CCTV, tell them that your brother collected the goods In your absence and told you about It after the claim was filed.

You can then Initiate the return.

I just have one issue. They wrote this in the email and I quote “The Police Report must be filed before 45 DAYS AFTER THE DELIVERY DATE”

My items got delivered the 27.01 and 30.01 which means if I do the PR tomorrow it will be at the 50’th day… is this a big issue, are they very strict with the within 45 days?

I first picked my items up the 08.02, so I can maybe say I thought the 45 days was after I picked it up. Because this would be within the 45 daysSmile?

Bro what the hell are you doing...did you not see everyone's response in your previous thread??

Never ever ever ever EVER claim DNA from a drop off point!! What on earth are you doing?? They can see that you accessed your items from there + no way it could have been stolen or simply undelivered

Tell them that due to unforeseen circumstances, you were unable to file the PR within the said time frame.
