Broken bottle? More like broken method... - EquitableEngineer - 03-06-2023 I have received reports of retailers now asking for video evidence when claiming that a bottle of perfume has arrived broken even after submitting PS'ed images. Sephora and Notino are the 2 I can confirm who have been asking for this starting only a few days ago. Anyone else encountered this ? Im talking specifically about this method not warranty claims and such. RE: Broken bottle? I may have to do some info gathering to confirm for myself if that's what they require. Also are the people saying this US based? RE: Broken bottle? More like broken method... - EquitableEngineer - 03-06-2023 Yeah and its crazy thats its 2 separate retailers as well, so quickly. Sephora was US and Notino was EU, id assume this is a policy a company would apply internationally. RE: Broken bottle? More like broken method... - BitPlayer - 03-06-2023 I’ve recently done Sephora and they only asked for pics. But useful to know for the future as I’m keeping bottles when I use them for future pics (and videos!) RE: Broken bottle? Circa 14 days ago for Sephora UK. Also done Boots more recently. RE: Broken bottle? Always have empty bottles of perfume on hand. Pour the SE perfume Into the spare bottle, break the original one and give them the video evidence as Instructed. Pretty much a common sense approach. Also it can happen when people go overboard on the methods lol. RE: Broken bottle? No denying that simply using a PS'd image is cleaner and simpler. Thanks for bringing this up though because I always thought that decanting the perfume would be a difficult process but after having just researched it i see that it is not at all. I had dismissed it entirely until you reminded me of it. |
