What are those "scans" people offer? - bigsg - 03-04-2023 Hey guys, i have been looking around for a while but couldnt get a exact answer. Those scans that some people offer for money like RTS for amazon or lost in transit. Take a look at this website for example (no ad): https://fake-tids.to/return-to-sender What do they actually do? Do you just have to give them the label, they do the job, and it actually works? I heard RTS is outdated? Thanks for the help guys i appreciate it @mothered ur thoughts are very welcome RE: What are those "scans" people offer? - jamiek84 - 03-04-2023 Yes, can be done with many delivery services. Often it's just tracking number. Do once delivered and it shows that it was damaged or refused by you and RTS. Just call up and ask for money back. Seen mentions of "panels" but still unclear of what that means. Having a business courier account doesn't make sense, having a courier as an inside wouldn't work, having an insider in logistics/customer service possibly but would imagine that changing the status of a package would require advanced access. These things are usually an inside job at courier service. I don't think you need higher up access either as every employee from driver to picker has a scan gun. It wouldn't surprise me if a whole warehouse was taken over in certain tight knit poor communities or where it's all people from one country living in another country. Almost every service has an Insider working for them. You see an opportunity to do something that's a click of a button for you, but you get a decent payout for each scan done. Lets say each scan for you cost 50 bucks, and one person does around 50 scans a day. That's $2500 in a day. You can already imagine why an insider would consider this... And storemen wages are not exactly the best out there, some are quite low - which makes perfect sense to be an Insider. RE: What are those "scans" people offer? - bigsg - 03-05-2023 so to conclude its a solid refund method? Anybody of yall got experience with it? thanks for the answers RE: What are those "scans" people offer? - ruonis55 - 03-05-2023 (03-05-2023, 01:07 PM)bigsg Wrote: so to conclude its a solid refund method? You have to do your own research or find someone that recently did anything with the scans. The website you gave is mostly for Germany. It's not very easy to get information about scans, like there are people that goes on the telegram groups and leeches to get information about the website and the method that can be used. It also depends on if the method is saturated for a particular company. I’ve heard of folks hitting up costco using this method in the past, and they caught on. Since costco couldn’t prove anything that the customer never received the item, they told the customer to do a chargeback with their bank. So yes the method is full proof but you also cannot overuse it since chargebacks should always be the last resort. Don’t overuse them ever |
