Quest 2 ban after SE - Trical1 - 02-24-2023
So I got a quest 2 for personal use. I got the refund on my card. I waited a few days. Then I started using the quest only to receive a permanent ban from meta after a few more days.
I contacted them to see why, they said that I need a POP for it since there is an investigation on the device. However the original Se has finished (ticket marked as resolved). I faked pop and they now want to see ID.
I can't sell this item on since the buyer would have the same issue.
I was thinking of buying a new quest 2 from argos and swapping this banned one over and returning it.
My question is, do I need to be careful about serial numbers or anything for returning this quest to argos? I heard they are strict with quest returns as well so what would be a good reason?
If anyone else knows a better way for me to go about this, please share.

Do you have a walmart nearby or something like that? I would advise you purchase one in and return it in person, youll get an instant refund and wont have to worry about serial number, their employees only check for the item itself, super easy return. Which oculus device did you refund btw? the 400$ one?

Yeah, seems like it, I should have waited longer than 4 days before using it.
