Not being succesfull wth DNA or EB methods - ruonis55 - 02-16-2023 Hey, I wanted to discuss something that is bothering me for some time and I can't figure it out. I am not very successful with DNA or EB methods on Amazon.de. I don't know what I am doing wrong, because my friend is using those methods for like a year and he gets the refunds without any problems. The main thing that Amazon reps are doing investigations every time for me, doesn't matter is it a cheap order or not a cheap one. But they attack me with the investigations straight away, I tried dodging them and getting a new Amazon rep to chat with, but still no luck. I use mainly all the security measures for creating a new account, only the reship address is the same, but I don't know if it could affect the process. The accounts that I tried on, were both new and old-aged accounts. So I wanted your opinion about my problem, did I do something wrong or I am just unlucky? Would be nice if @mothered could give me any tips or advice RE: Not being succesfull wth DNA or EB methods - plop442 - 02-16-2023 This ain't 2016 anymore. People need to move on from eb and dna especially. The fact that you can only do 1 dna every few months tells you this method ain't great. I do ftid and lit and can do as many as I desire because the carrier doesn't investigate my address, only the return package. There are new amazon scans out that I've seen, but they're like £200 or £300. Like there refunders that use the same methods, so why pay them when you can do it by yourself? For example: the last time I ordered cpu and nvme ssd. The cpu was one of the new Ryzen one's without any cooler with it. The nvme ssd was one of the samsung one's. CPU weight 79.2 g , nvme SSD 50g. Didn't had any information about the weight in the tracking because it was delivered by Amazon. So after it was delivered, I waited for like an hour or so. Then I wrote to Amazon rep, saying that I opened the box and the nvme SSD was missing, he said me to wait, I had to wait like about 10-20 minutes for reps reply and then he said that they will write me an email about the situation. Then after some minutes I got this type of letter. I am XXXX from Amazon Support team. We’re sorry to hear that you haven’t received your item(s) from order #302-0237998-6626743. We have fully investigated this matter, including with the delivery carrier who delivered the package. Based on the outcome of our investigations, we believe the package was delivered to the correct address. In particular, we have considered information from our records, as follows which indicate the item as delivered: - the timed geocode stamp of the delivery location; - information collected at the point of delivery; and - the package weight and reported condition upon delivery. Accordingly, based on our investigations, we won’t be able to provide a replacement or refund for this order at this time. If you think that someone has intercepted your item without your permission, this is a crime, and we recommend that you to contact your local authorities if necessary in order to pursue this matter further. If the issue isn't resolved after contacting local law enforcement and the carrier, please contact us back during the business hours of the related police department with the URL to the online police report or the following information: - The police report number regarding this incident - The name of the related station - Crime Reference Number/URL of report/Reference number provided - The name and badge number of reporting officer, and contact number of the station. - Provide a reference number (if any). Please contact us back when the police report is complete. We are unable to accept police reports that are in “pending” or any other incomplete status. Please note: to assist in obtaining a police report, we recommend that you provide a copy of this email to the police to help explain what has happened. We will happily cooperate with the police as part of any investigation. Thank you for your understanding. So I didn't want to bother with the police report.... RE: Not being succesfull wth DNA or EB methods - HEIS - 02-17-2023 Amz (especially .de) often ask for PR. If it's not the case with your friend than perhaps you live in a different country (with higher fraud risk score) than his address. I suppose a reship company address might also raise suspicion. No, we are like friends from school years, we live in the same country and etc. But for security, I like to ship items to reship address in Germany and then I got my items shipped to my country at a little cost. He ships it to an address near his flat in the country we live in, like we have abandoned schools and houses nearby, so he uses one of their address. I didn't try his way of method. You were responsible for the declined claim, not the method. I used fake credentials, it would not work. Also, it would be strange if my local police would investigate something that happened in the country that is far away.
