Samsung S23 Ultra Query - fenderbassjazz - 02-14-2023

Hey all Biggrin,

I'm not new to SEing but I haven't done anything for a while (my last being an eGPU and Airpods in 2021ish).

I've decided on a much bigger fish, being the S23 Ultra. I've purchased it from Amazon (in a bundle also containing the Buds) which are both come directly from Amazon UK (FBA etc) and arrive tomorrow evening.

My first thoughts were to DNA, though I'm not sure about Amazon UKs IMEI blocking policies - and I got an email saying I'll have an OTP on delivery, signature would be fine though. But that would be my first attempt. With the OTP I'll try the whole "I haven't received one yet" thing while saying I'm on a work call while I talk to the driver for urgency.

Alternatively I think my other option would be to partial, such that the buds were only in the box (I could also offer to pay for just the buds when I talk to support). But this may be hard to do with consignment weights of the items etc.

Open to any suggestions, my Amazon account is really old and has many many orders.

Quick edit: my only major concern is the price, being GBP1249 which would make this a slightly higher profile SE

Amazon will NOT Block the IMEI.

I guess the buds and the Phone will be delivered seperately , so you cant do an partial refund , but Update your status here.

A lot of the time the warehouse by where I live tends to package all same delivery time orders in a slightly bigger box, so my assumption is that they'll both be a box together. Though, I'm not hard set on that happening.

Will keep this thread updated when they arrive

DNA could do the job if you don't have an OTP verification.
You could also consider doing EB or MEB. Wait for mothered ideas Wink

It was a Razer Core X from Amazon, simple DNA as the courier left the gigantic box on my doorstep

It doesn't get much easier than that.

In terms of this SE:

If you can circumvent the OTP and a signature Is required at the most, the DNA Is certainly good to go.

You'll be hitting the partial on the entire Item -phone and Its box which adds extra weight to the consignment, hence It's too heavy.

Even the phone Itself Is not suited to partial/EB It.
