Empty box for multiple computer parts from Amazon? - blueray101 - 02-14-2023

I want to buy a few computer parts from Amazon:

I9 CPU
64 gb Ram
1-2 NVMe SSD

Will all of the items come in 1 delivery assuming all of them are from Amazon's warehouse? Since the combined weight of these items are low, can I claim my delivery package came empty? I can't say the manufacture box is empty since there are mulltiple items. The combined cost will be about 1000 USD. I will be ordering from Amazon AU but I can order from US Amazon too. If it's too heavy, can I say that my items were missing and the box only came with padding (the stuff to protect the items), rocks or some other random item?

Impossible to say for sure.

No.

It's extremely unlikely every Item was omitted from the packing process.

Amazon won't buy It.

How will you justify receiving (for example) a package containing rocks?

So you only recommend empty boxing one item? I read your article about partial empty box (socialengineers.net/2020/09/the-partial-method.html) and you mentioned that multiple items could be empty boxed. What's the difference there? Just more likely for them to miss items?

How about saying the package only came with protective padding and using the protective padding to fake the weight? I think there's a chance that a packager accidentally only filled the box with protective padding.

I didn't state multiple Items can be "empty boxed".

You're referring to two different methods - partial & EB, that's the difference.

As said, not for every Item.

Think about It logically for a minute. What are the chances the warehouse forgot to pick, pack and dispatch an order only containing 3 different Items? Moreover, why would they pack It with protective padding when there's no reason to - especially with goods that're well packed to begin with, and not susceptible to damage/breakage during transit?

What if I used the protective padding method for only 1 item that weighs over 120 g? Every time I buy electronics, it always comes with protecting padding. It's just the standard, at least in Australia. There are definitely goods that need it like RAM and SSD where the manufacture box provides no protection. The logic for the box being filled with only protective padding would be the same as empty box. It's just a question of whether the protective padding can be used to justify the weight. I don't expect to be able to justify a large weight like 2 kg but for something like 300 g it could work. My only concern would be that the package weight equals the items weight when they check their records, and it might be too unusual for the protective padding to match it exactly, or is there enough inaccuracy on the scale and variation in weight for them to be unable to pinpoint a weight?

All goods are manufactured and packaged according to certain standards, without variation from one batch to the next.

How will you justify receiving x-amount of protective padding when the product Is not factory-packed as such? Don't complicate It, simply use a compatible traditional method.

I am not sure but it seems to me that you are referring to the protective padding that the manufacturer puts in? I am referring to the protective padding that the company I buy from puts in. Usually, they will place my product in a box and place protective padding around the product to protect it. When I say lie about protective padding only, what I mean is that the company forgot to pack the product and only put in protective padding.

I'm referring to how the package Is typically packed and dispatched - be It the manufacturer or the company, same thing.

Both have certain standards and procedures when consolidating and packing goods of a given type. It'd be pretty difficult to justify If you've only received protective padding - for the fact that It would be an excessive amount, and Is not part of their regular regime to send off consignments In that fashion.

Don't get me wrong, It may well work, but all It takes Is one representative to think along the lines of what I've said here and complications will be experienced. I'd love for you to give It a shot - It'd be very Interesting to see how developments unfold.
