Question regarding 'MEB' Method - IDontCareAboutIt - 02-10-2023

Contrary to my Username, i do actually care about some things. Right now i have my eyes on SE'ing some Airpods.

How useful is the 'MEB' method?

Also i'd like to discuss failure & saving a failure (at least legit-return)

I have never heard of MEB tbh, where did you heard that? You can easily get them at amazon using EB tho.

I have never heard of MEB tbh, where did you heard that? You can easily get them at amazon using EB tho.

Unfortunately dealing with OFM issues right now.

I hear that MEB is very successful with that particular product but be ready to be asked for a PR with either Amazon or Apple. I have seen some users round here having luck with in store MEB's but you need a big set of cajones for that.

I hear that MEB is very successful with that particular product but be ready to be asked for a PR with either Amazon or Apple. I have seen some users round here having luck with in store MEB's but you need a big set of cajones for that.


A Police Report for a 'manufacturing mistake' ?

Also In Store's seems pretty sick, they have no way of checking the weight. Maybe a good SE'er would tell the clerk "the box feels a little light, don't you think?" while paying, basically creating a case/idea before claiming 'MEB'.

Yes mate, they ask for a PR now if you sneeze while placing an order lol Really though we were all as surprised as you when Ama and Apple strated being so heavy handed with the PRs.

I think the in store SEs have such a high success rate because many people are reluctant to do it so its not saturated like basically every public method.

MEB is insanely easy to do with AirPods, 99.999% success rate. If it doesn't work with Amazon/Apple try Target, BB, Walmart, any of the big box stores are instant refund for these pretty much.

my friend did it with airpods pro gen 2 a while back, even then they asked for pr. but i´ve heard people doing meb with iphones and mac, if possible it makes more sense to "waste" a pr on something sick.
