ASOS REFUND - haider.a787 - 02-09-2023

I have an issue, I did an ASOS refund, ASOS wrote on live chat that they will refund and said it would take 5-10 working days. I've done ASOS before and they've always refunded me. This time I do not know what to do. They sent me an email saying  "After an assessment of your account, we've made the decision to not process your claim as your account activity is not in line with out Terms and Conditions. However I am getting mixed response whilst contacting CS.

Some agents are saying we are processing the refund and the specalist team will contact me. One agent said I will need to contact my CC and file a dispute. I am wondering what are the chances of me winning a dispute with my CC as they said multiple time in transcripts and screenshot they will be refunding the full amount.

How many SE's have you done before with ASOS?

the standings of your account horribly gone down duo to multiple refunds in close periods with the lacking of good legitimate orders between each SE claim ... upon that they made this assessment in my opinion but since you have a screenshot where they approved your claim then you are good to go with the chargeback , by adding what you have on the already approved claim you may get back your money

A pretty mediocre reply that doesn't tell you anything pertaining to what triggered their decision to decline your claim.

Ask them to elaborate on this:
Quote:your account activity is not in line with out Terms and Conditions

RE: ASOS REFUND - tbfk - 02-10-2023

In my, limited, experience - nobody will contact nor give you a refund. While chatting you will get the same response about "specialist team" and maybe you will get once or twice same automated email that you have already gotten.
I tried messaging any email i could find on ASOS and chatted close to 10 times with their brain dead reps but could not move further than this.
