INCIDENT UPDATE ... - deaqolo - 02-09-2023

1- registered fake identity on a food application and in a sudden upon getting the refund restaurant called on landline number ...
2- yesterday after the incident , a state of paranoia took place thus a missy post was made , couldn't handle the idea and kept wondering how did they got my landline number ?

HENCE : angry resturant manager was on the other side of the call , order was made from an application that serves the famous resturants in area same way where amazon serves retailers in order of them to sell online

3- after some digging i figured this out ... duo to the fact of constant abuse of this restaurant on the last couple weeks using the food application they were able to locate the landline number by just searching the address with highst order rate in my street so since the street address was correct they were easly able to locate my particular home .

4- contacted the food application and reported the incident , i was being told since i use them as a "middleman" there is nothing i should worry about and since all the claims was approved and my account is still active with a full access to every available resturant in the area i should be fine .

5-thank you father @mothered for guiding us all , i hope you accept my sincere apology since i wasn't aware about the "TL;DR" thing .

Thats quite a story let me tell you that. What does TL;DR mean?

The lesson here is clearly don't go over board in any SE no matter how trivial it seems or easy it is to pull off. Use mothered's 2:1 rule, at least 2 legit orders for every 1 SE at a minimum.

You still have a landline? Are landline numbers for a street public or they looked it up in a database?
When you say the restaurant was being abused, you mean by other refunders or by you?

You'd be surprised at the number of active landlines nowadays.

If you don't ask your phone provider to make It private, anyone can look It up online.
