Fake Shipping Label - theweezer - 01-28-2023

Hi. I just recently bought Thermal Shipping Label Printer from Ali, so that i can basically fake shipping labels. So lets say i buy something, the package comes, i take off the original shipping label and stick the fake one where the only difference is the weight. Original one has 1.50kg and now the fake one has 0.3kg. i do the PEB and send to the support the video of missing items AND the fake shipping label. Is that good idea/belieavable? Let me know. Thanks

AFAIK the weight and all other relevant info is encoded in to the barcode itself so your plan may pass a very basic cursory check but would probably fail anything more detailed. I hope i will be corrected here if im wrong.

I think they would do an investigation, weight check, and contact the courier. The printer will be more useful for you if do FTID or Returned to Sender methods.

Both weights & dimensions are taken at the carrier's depot for record keeping and cost of freight.

If an Investigation Is opened, they'd simply refer to their systems and Identify the true weight of the package - which will render your label manipulation useless.

Thanks for your info. I know that this type of label editing works amazingly for Shein. When you hit their CS all they ask is for photo of label...all you do is change weight in photoshop, and voila. Anyways, thanks

Appreciate you sharing your experience.

Shein purely go off the shipping label, as opposed to referencing/requesting details from the carrier's manifest.
