Yodel Refund Help - Huncho - 01-28-2023

I DNA'd a jacket for a gift. The carrier was Yodel and they've taken a photo of the package on my doorstep and left it. I contacted support and the lady was basically warning me saying ''we will ask the driver to return to your address to conduct a further investigation.'' and ''Are you sure you didn't take it and forget about it?'' but then later replied with a Yodel Disclaimer form that looks like this https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210202/651050f5a20a95c05d4cffefe5030b8b.jpg

My question is why was the lady making weird comments, was this just a scare tactic?

Is this form safe to sign after the comments she told me

So what? Ignore him/her.

The driver has no right to set foot on your private property Interrogating you about the events of the delivery. You've claimed through the company, and that's where It remains.

Sent the form back now she’s saying “can you provide proof for the cost of the order number you gave” never heard this one before haha

If she focuses on the job Instead of manicuring her nails, she'd realize that punching In the order number will display the cost that was Invoiced.

after a few days another rep emails me saying ''Can you please confirm if the doorway the parcel is in on the picture is yours? As it is definitely in someone's house, and I can't see anyone's doorway on your street that looks like that except for the house I think is yours''

I was thinking of just sticking to my story but the reps make the sitatution sound so weird the way they word things so thought I could do with some advice

Was the photo taken of the "doorstep" or the "doorway"?

There's a big difference between the two.

Yeah , this is the photo they showed me and it's where the package was left when I got it

Given the photo Is of your doorway, how on earth can they possibly justify their following message?

Did they physically open the door and check everyone's doorway In your street? Ask them to explain themselves.
