Amazon closed acc refund - Geckoo - 01-25-2023
Hi guys,
So my amazon account got closed but I have some items I want to legit refund, is there anything that can be done?

I opened amazon.be acc to do an order there, ava wanted to verify payment method bur because of insufficient proof of ownership (even though I sent them Bank statements and everything they requested) they decided to close the .be acc and subsequentually the .de acc ….

I sent then everything they requested and acc is still closed.
After contacting CS the lady found it weird that the acc was blocked, forwarded to the relevant dep and told me it will get fixed, even gave me another mail to upload their requested docs.
Shortly after the call I received a mail from them, saying :
“We have checked your data and found that your Amazon.de account needs to be closed. Open orders (if available) have been cancelled.
Further emails on this matter may not be answered.”
I sent a complaint to the mail she gave me and asked if I can send something to them to solve the issue, I’m waiting for their reply

You complied with everything they asked of you, yet they've closed the account without giving you the opportunity to speak In your defence, or provide further details to keep the account active. Amazon Is the largest eCommerce company, not your local fruit shop, so they should pull their finger out of their a*s and address Incidents of this nature professionally.

It gets better
The email I sent probably had some influence on the situation because my .be acc went from “closed” to “on hold”.
For a verification they requested ID, I send them my ID front and back and they deny it…
I sent a complaint to the mail again but I doubt it will do somethung..

Why was It denied? What do they require to fully fulfil the ID verification?
