My dad taught me how the pieces move when i was a kid, now i started playing chess as a kind of new year resolution to sharpen my mind.
i have 1 month of playing now and have over 300 games, let's say i kinda got obsessed with it because the game is very fun when you know some strategies and tripled my rating since i started. Anyone else?

The initial interests is always the peak. It goes down as you go higher elo.
