Hello everyone,
I want to do my first SN but I'm not really sure about how to get a serial number. I have seen a few unboxing videos for the product I want to SE but impossible to see any SN.
So, I guess that my best option is to ask to some sellers on ebay or Facebook Marketplace to give me the SN of the product they are selling.
But, I don't really get how to convince them that I need the SN before buying the product.
So my question is : What is your strategy to get a SN from them ? What do you ask and how do you word it exactly ?
I have already tried it in the past and people didn't gave at it to me, that's why I'm asking

here's my example:
Hello, I'm very interested in this product as I'm a collector/fan of the brand/searched this particular model/version for a while, would you mind providing me with it's serial number so I could verify it's genuine, under warranty and also not stolen?
Either the number or photo of it, not a screen from the warranty site as I'd like to check it myself on the site, I was scammed before so I need to follow these extra steps to be 100% safe, I'm sure you understand.
If it's all good I will probably purchase it in the next 2 days so you could actually book it already for me if possible.

I’ve looked at doing the SN method, I’ve had s numbers and receipts but haven’t worked out how to pull the method off?
