Google Pixel 7 SB viability - EquitableEngineer - 01-16-2023

Has anyone SB'd the pixel 7 ? Im not too sure how the paper looking seals would hold up under a hairdryer, i have experimented with the pixel 6 seals with success but they were a semi transparent plastic not paper like the 7. Would kind of make sense for the more expensive phone to have better seals.

Planning to break the seals, remove the part of the seal that is stuck to the box with a hair dryer and then replace with fresh seals.

they are 100% doable, its more of a plasticy mix material. as long as you focus your heat gun/hair dryer at the edge then your good to peel slowly with the help of a razor to lift the corners. Adhesive is a bit strong on these ones so make sure you heat it up well, but not enough to burn it obviously.

yes, if you take a quick look at my posts then you'll get the idea that I specialize in SB specifically. Its really the only method I use.

do you leave dummy items in box or just sth that is the same etc? and do you have experience with samsung in EU, do they open boxes after return?

Important questions. I think the most important thing about what you put in the box is the weight and that it looks like something that could have come from the manufacturing floor. Either that or a dummy.

Obviously enough, don't buy it from Google itself, as they'll keep track of the IMEI

stupid question maybe - how to determine if company checks sealed boxes on return? fe i will make a legit return but what to do to understand it? maybe to put sth in the box with the item so that it would raise a question from store?
