Amazon chargeback, collections? - ghrubba8 - 01-15-2023 Paid a boxer to do a ftid on a macbook, did it with the same guy year ago and worked fine. Return tracked showed "returning to sender, on the way" I waited 2 weeks and contacted their live chat but they said to wait another month. Then another rep said its being returned back to you so you need to return it back to us again. This time I went to speak to a supervisor who blatantly started accusing me of basically faking the return and I started giving the rep hell accusing me. So then I filed a chargeback thru my cc over a month ago and I got a email shortly from them saying "We are writing to let you know that your or debit issuer received a report of unauthorized use of your and reversed a transaction placed on the Amazon account associated with this email address. The transaction details are included below. To prevent additional unauthorized orders, your Amazon account has been placed on hold. This hold applies to any seller or vendor accounts that use the same email address and password. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause." Basically account is banned which is fine by me but have they ever put it into collections? I heard amazon uses TRS Recovery Services. RE: Amazon chargeback, collections? - EquitableEngineer - 01-15-2023 So just to be clear, the chargeback was successful and you are just wondering if the amount will go to a collections agency ? RE: Amazon chargeback, collections? - ghrubba8 - 01-15-2023 Yup money back on my account but standard investigation is 60-90 days so I have 1-2 months remaining. Im just wondering if amazon sends it to collections? |
