Wayfair SE help - TorUser827PlsNoBan - 01-06-2023 I ordered a medium sized appliance (minifridge) from wayfair and I was planning on doing the damaged item method but the delivery person took a picture of the box. Need advice. Should I switch to DNA? RE: Wayfair SE help - Selmavw - 01-06-2023 Do you mean the damaged item or damaged package method? For the former one it doesn't matter if there is a picture of the box taken. Damaged item would require me to box them (right?) and it's to heavy for that. This is my first attempt at a large item. In this case switching to DNA is the best option I think. You would have to look into the companies terms & conditions to find out if they are liable for lost shipments RE: Wayfair SE help - TorUser827PlsNoBan - 01-06-2023 (01-06-2023, 10:11 PM)Selmavw Wrote:(01-06-2023, 09:16 PM)TorUser827PlsNoBan Wrote:(01-06-2023, 09:14 PM)Selmavw Wrote: Do you mean the damaged item or damaged package method? I'll hit the DNA. Delivery person put it in a bad spot were anyone could see it and walk up and take it. I can argue it was stolen. @mothered What do you think? It'd be perfect to DNA it if they've just left it lying around they've practically SE'd themselves Everything posted here is purely fictional if it relates to any events then its just purely coincidental RE: Wayfair SE help - mothered - 01-07-2023 (01-06-2023, 10:35 PM)TorUser827PlsNoBan Wrote: I'll hit the DNA. It's not unrealistic that someone passing by could have seen it and taken it.(01-06-2023, 10:35 PM)TorUser827PlsNoBan Wrote: I'll hit the DNA. Is DNA still good for that or does the picture ruin that? They can take 100 photos of every angle, but It still doesn't change the fact that It was left unattended. I just did a Dyson v15 detect for $700 DNA after I said the battery leaked and that didn't work so I used DNA and the customer service rep never even looked at the chat logs and saw I tried leaking battery method. Got a free Dyson battery from Dyson too I'm going to make a separate a thread detailing the whole process. |
