how did you lose a chargeback with a tracking number that says Amazon received the package?

What did you say to them? Are the headphones damaged? Is the box damaged?

It's strange that they put a lot of effort into this. At first I wanted to comment asking how the chargeback failed but after waiting for your next comment I got a more in-depth information about it. I wonder if this would work with like laptop battery leak.

(12-31-2022, 06:09 PM)KingDead Wrote: Bought $400 Bowers & Wilkins headphones in October, told Amazon they were damaged showed fake picture and sent them back via UPS Pickup with proof of receipt that Amazon received package.  Except I didn't. I handed the UPS guy a small box filled with just paper I think I honestly can't remember it was so long ago.
They kept stalling and telling me wait 30 days then 60. Meanwhile I filed a chargeback with the bank and eventually lost that last week.

So I starting harrassing Amazon reps again. I finally got one to tell me that it was never scanned and I told him I have proof of delivery and the Amazon Assistant tells me Amazon received it evetime I go to chat. Finally I filled out some incident report they emailed me, asking me when I returned it and with what carrier. They emailed me back right away and apologized and refunded me.

I admit this was a pretty lazy attempt on my part but hey never give up!

It still said I had until Feb 3rd to refund the headphones so I was just about to mail back another empty box until they finally caved.
Think the longest battle I have had was with Balenciaga & UPS, lasted about 2-3 months. Was the biggest headache of my life but I eventually won.

The longest ones are the most frustrating yet the most satisfying to pull off so, congrats! Enjoy the headphones.
