A warning - police involved in DNA claim - contriveD - 12-12-2022

At this point, I think its only right to create a separate thread to warn all of you.

The narrative on this board seems to be that the DNA has no consequences for the driver or for you, as law enforcement does not care about such small amounts of money.
In most cases, this is true, but let me tell you that it can be different.

It has recently happened that the police got involved in a DNA claim and is investigating the case. I cannot specify exactly the country or what the case comprises.
It's somewhere in the EU and the police is most likely investigating if the driver has deliberately stolen the package on their behalf.
It could also be that they are investigating if the receiver has deliberately stolen the package.

As the case got police-related, they do not give you any information about it.

Be warned
Best Regards.

Thanks for the heads-up.

I'd say It wasn't your run-of-the-mill DNA. There would've been events behind the scenes unbeknownst from a client-side standpoint, that triggered police action.

What kind of events would that be?
Also, please look into my other thread as soon as possible.

Thank you.

I don't know, neither would anyone else who's not Internally Involved with the claim.

What I'm saying, Is that a mediocre one-off claim for nonreceipt of goods would not warrant police action. Something triggered It on a somewhat serious level, thereby the police have decided to pursue It.

Can we get any level of detail regarding the value of the DNA'd item or the source -- particular business, or at least size of company supplying goods (large multinational, smaller company)?

Way too vague.

It wouldn't have been the company who issued the police, they have no power. It would've had to been the delivery service. Probably a case of it's constant that there's packages being lost on 1 address and it was flagged.

This is why I know DNA is easiest but also the riskiest in my opinion.
