SEing Scan UK - EquitableEngineer - 12-12-2022

I have an aged account with some large orders on there and am looking for mobo + CPU from scan and I am not willing to go the DNA route.

What info do you guys have on Scan ? Do they use CCTV for example.

Can anyone speak of any successful SEs they have had with Scan ? I know they do mobo and CPU bundles, anyone know how they are packaged? Im assuming they just throw a mobo and CPU into a brown box and ship it. I am thinking of PEB but I think the CPU may be too heavy for that.

Yes, they have CCTV monitoring their movement of stock, hence the PEB Is out of the question.

Is the CPU visible externally without opening the box?

I thought so, is a CPU light enough for PEB in general ?

Yes, as far as I know all intel CPUs have a window in the back showing the CPU itself.

Yes, the majority are packaged with a clear window on one side of the box.

That being said, there's one or two types of CPUs that're fully enclosed In a cardboard box - I just don't remember the make/model.

are CPUs generally PEB friendly?

Only If Its entire packaging Is within the PEB's weight bracket.
