Delivery guy came knocking - C0NTR0L - 12-07-2022

Hello,

I have been doing some SE's and mostly used the DNA and EB method.
Things were going great untill my delivery guy came knocking with almost tears in his eyes asking me what happend to the package and telling me he was about to lose his job because of ''suspicion of theft''.
This made me realize i honestly don't want to ruin this good guys carriere and how i do not like using the DNA method anymore. Honestly the method is very good and pretty reliable.
Id like to use the EB more often but as you may know you cannot always use this method.
Now i've been looking into FTID too ofcourse but saw some noticable points made by @mothered which made me question the method.
Any recommondations on how to go about this and how not to get this guy to lose his job?

Thanks in advance

I've experienced the same on countless occasions over a 35+ year period.

Some drivers should quit their job and pursue an acting career.

Who's the company, and what's the Item you're SEing?

Damn that is sad to hear if that is really the case for him. What did you tell him?

Shitty companies fire employees for DNA claims.

I can assure you that a one-off Incident as per the OP's event, would not jeopardize his employment.

He may well have had a high volume of complaints for failing to deliver goods, some of which were legit.

Yes I can imagine this was not his only case, otherwise his employment wouldn't be in jeopardy.
What would you recommend saying if a delivery guy suddenly came knocking at your door and accusing you of things?
I know you do not have to say anything, but just closing the door on him would be pretty suspicious.

Simply and politely say that you're not In a position to comment on the matter.

Right now im thinking of SE'ing graphic cards etc.. to resell and make me some money as i have upcoming plans i gotta afford.
Im trying to FTID a parfume company just to test it as i have never done the ftid before . But honestly the DNA was great for me. Im just questioning how the refunders actually get through $2000+ orders.

So ithe guy came ringing my bell and desperately ask me why the package is missing when he gave it to me. I just kinda looked at him and he asked if i could get this resolved, i just looked at him and nodded saying alright. he turned around a walked off to his workvan. I honestly did nothing about it as the refund went through and i succeeded my SE.
Funny enough now that i think of it i haven't seen the guy or van in a good time.
