Apple EB - Mobdeep - 12-05-2022
Hi guys, hope you are well.
I ordered a pair of airpod gen 2 pro’s directly from Apple UK themselves, im looking to EB this but have never EB’d via apple directly. I also placed the order from my existing apple ID hoping that I could argue my case by stating how long i have been part of Apple for.
Anyone got any tips for me in regards to process of methods etc? Anything would be greatly appreciated.
Will keep this thread updated with a final outcome, airpods due to arrive tomorrow.

PR’s are no biggie for me personally, they are worthless to both parties.
Also who am i contacting Apple wise. A livechat? An email? Anyone specific you recommend?

Thought you guys may appreciate an update so here we go.
I called Apple and told them EB, they said fine we understand this happens we will need pictures and a police report from you.
So i said cool i can do the pictures but im not sure how to go about a police report. So the apple employee had told me to call my local police and ask for a police report.
I did this and went ahead to be told immediately by the police that its not something they can do a report for as its apple that havent fullfilled their end of the contract alongside the courier which i agree with.
Now apple is adamant that i provide a police report which im currently finding impossible to get done. I sent them a VERY long email stating that the police have told me im not in need of a police report to give to apple alongside frustration.
Im now waiting to hear from apple but seriously this is the first time in many SE’s that ive heard where the customer individually fills out a police report rather than the company providing one. Its stupid.
Im waiting to hear from Apple in regards to whether i can still get a refund without a police report.

They just replied:

We are sorry to inform that without the Police Report we are not able to proceed with the investigation.
Please reply to this email with mandatory Police report in order to proceed with the investigation.
We will accept:
*Physical Police Report
*PDF Police Report
*Screen shot of the Police Report
*Crime reference number (an attachment also needs to be provided, this can be a confirmation email of the Crime Report submitted with the same reference number)
