Apple Watch EB - Amazon - Crack767 - 12-02-2022

Hi all,

I’ve done EB with Amazon for an Apple Watch but they’re insisting on the box being returned. Does anyone know whether they’ll be able to block the watch? The IMEI number is on the box that’s all.

Is it on the label? If pictures are taken of the package, is the IMEI label visible on it?

I am curious if you can remove it altogether. Usually I don't think the IMEI number is usually on the box, but rather on the item box itself.

Amazon already has all the data on your Apple Watch. Despite this, I've never heard of Apple Watch blocked by Amazon

Apple Itself has the capacity to see the activity on the watch as well as turn off the hardware (blacklist), but not Amazon.

It makes no difference even If It wasn't.

Amazon will have a record of the IMEI at the time your order was Invoiced.

There's no harm returning the box.

I have an Apple Watch SE, and I’m wondering if I can buy the new series 8 in the same size and just swap my current watch for it. I might do it on Amazon, target or Walmart. Do you guys think it will work, or which store could yield less risk?
