Best Buy Canada SE - Mertuminiv - 11-24-2022

Hi everyone, I am planning to do an SE from Best Buy Canada on an arcade stick costing $280 before tax.

I plan on doing a DNA on it and I was wondering if it would be possible considering I have 1 previous purchase that was small.

What's the precise weight of the Item Itself?

Quote:I plan on doing a DNA
What type of verification will be required on delivery?

When was the purchase made?

Also, any SEs performed on the account?

Weight is about 3.4 kg.

From my past experience buying from Best Buy, there was no verification used other than a photo. Not sure if this product would warrant the need for a signature.

The purchase was made in May 2021 and an SE was never performed on my account.

My main concern is that I knew someone who tried to SE AirPod Pros before through Best Buy, but support took way too long and just told him to chargeback. But AirPods, of course, cost more and is an Apple product.

Signatures are a useless form of delivery verification.

Under the circumstances, the DNA Is good to go.

I suggest making a legit purchase prior to the SE.

Disregard It.

It's a different matter altogether.

Actually, I was checking my emails earlier and noticed I have another email where I made a recent purchase late last month of $90, although it was done through guest checkout. Would it be better to use this account for the SE?

Given the Item you're SEing Is just In the low value bracket, yes, It'll be fine to use the Guest.

I've gone ahead and ordered the item. Any chance sealed box method would work on this item? I believe I can match the weight using one or multiple stacks of paper.

Can you open and reseal the box without any sign of Imperfections whatsoever?

I believe it'd be simple, as it's just two pieces of tape holding it together. I've also seen in unboxing videos that there is wrapping around the actual item when you open it so that may help. Sealed box is more or less a last resort option for me though.
