SE safety net - blamb1 - 11-23-2022 I'm curious as to whether anyone could shed some light on the possible failsafes if a SE fails. Would it simply be a refund on the original item claiming it had been found etc and then sparring that, a chargeback? How likely is a refund/chargeback to fail? @mothered If you could spare a moment I would love to hear your thoughts on this. RE: SE safety net - plop442 - 11-23-2022 I've failed a few, such as asos, Samsung and amazon. I've legit returned all except samsung; had to take an L. My only problem is exceeding the returns period. After that period if it fails, I can't legit return, so that's really the only thing I lookout for; a short return period. It depends on the company's operations, the nature of the Item, and whether you have enough evidence to support a chargeback. RE: SE safety net - 2ndround - 11-23-2022 Mainly the return window, if the company is very customer friendly they might allow a refund past that time period if you are apologetic and humble. It's all about what you say and most Importantly, how you say It. One dna failure, where the return period has passed but the company still allowed a full refund on the return. Even if failure is unlikely best to prepare for the worst. It's no fault of your own that the company took x-amount of time to assess the claim. (11-25-2022, 07:51 PM)2ndround Wrote: Even if failure is unlikely best to prepare for the worst.Absolutely. Preparing for the worst Is your backup plan - which should be part of every social engineering attack. |
