DNA to a pick up point - 2ndround - 11-16-2022

Your initial reaction to doing a DNA where the package is left at a pick up point, would be that it is impossible.
This has worked twice for SWIM
1) The courier system was down and the person in the shop manually wrote the details of SWIM in a book
2) Another person collected the package

Has anyone tried to this when it requires a pin or a signature in general?
Thinking about it logically it should fail but perhaps it is not as hard as it seems, if you are insistent enough and have the right rep working on your case.

Does the pick up point require ID? I know some do. If it's already worked twice I don't see why it wouldn't work again.

It depends on the courier and luck.
Sometimes they require ID, sometimes they require pin, sometimes just the last 4 digits of the tracking number.

The previous scenarios were slightly different and didn't involve pin, which is received via email or sms.

I feel like the pin one is obvious. If someone else went to get the package that was not you, they wouldn't know the pin. The signature one could be fudged by literally any random guy who walks in there.

What is SWIM?
also not sure how you'd do dna to a pickup point as when you pick it up you get sent an email from the website you bought it from

The pin should not work, but you never what is possible with the right company/agent.
However yes would avoid couriers who use such a system in the long term.

SWIM = someone who is not me, pretty old school term from the times of zoklet or before that totse probably.
You also receive such emails when a delivery has been made and people still claim DNA.

You're not wrong there.

I've had many SEs succeed when I least expected It.

It can also be that be that most people wouldnt think to claim DNA in such a situation.
Therefore making it more rare and believeable in a way.
