Defective item method - subliminal1284 - 11-08-2022
Have an idea for a SE and wanted to run it by others who may be able to point out any complications I’m not thinking of.
I am thinking of attempting to SE a VR headset from Amazon. My plan is to buy the headset, claim it’s defective and send back the headset I currently have which is defective and is the same exact model. The product is fulfilled by Amazon but not sold by Amazon, the company it is sold by is a large company.
The only possible issue I can think of is either Amazon or the company selling it through Amazon have recorded the serial number and may note that the serials don’t match the one shipped.
The account is a very aged account with 1 dna claim in the past year.. Thanks for your thoughts

Also, It's their policy to dispose of Incorrect returns, so say goodbye to your device.

You might have better luck trying this swap with some company other than Amazon.

Alternatively, DNA It (non-OTP delivery) or use the wrong Item received method.
