Received wrong item from Amazon – Advice. - Homura77 - 11-07-2022
Hello, I ordered a new GPU from amazon UK, sold and dispatched by amazon, an Asus Tuf 3080 TI (£1k), that I wanted to SE, but when I opened the box, it turns out the GPU was used.
The same brand and everything but filled with dust, scratches and a bent radiator. I guess I got scammed myself.
I’ll return it. But I wanted to ask if that will affect my account in any way? Would that be suspicious if I wanted to try again in a few days?
The account is 8 years old with regular orders.

You'll be doing the right thing by Immediately bringing It to their attention as a legit claim. If need be, forward them the above link.

If you don’t mind, I would also want to order another GPU from amazon, hopefully I get a new one this time, and try to SE it. I was thinking of saying that I received the wrong item, and replace it with something of a similar weight that’s also sold on amazon.
Would you say this method works well enough or should I try something different?
