Can DNA cause trouble to courier? - stayschemin - 11-05-2022

I've been successful with DNA but I wonder if this can cause a courier to get fined/lost their job for not delivering to the right house?

I feel bad doing this if it hurts someone's job. If this hurts big corporations like Amazon i give 2 shits but I don't want to hurt someone just doing their job

Thoughts?

Private contractors may be Impacted, but not those employed by companies on a very large scale.

Apparently for items claimed as DNA the driver has to pay out commission of the lost items, and of course a bad report will be made on his record for this "lost" delivery . You should steer away from DNA wherever possible, its not nice having a pissed off driver turn up at the delivery address,

PEB Is the opposite - It heavily relies on very lightweight Items to succeed.

Were the packages purely dumped at your doorstep?

Yes they were purely dumped. One of them had no photo. Got another package today where a quick photo was taken but you can't tell it's my doorstep. Any other SE options that wont cause trouble to courier?

Perfect to DNA It.

As said, private contractors may be affected, but drivers who're employed by (for example) Amazon won't be Impacted.

There are literally thousands of claims daily for nonreceipt of goods. If each and every driver Is liable, there wouldn't be anyone on the road. Companies on a large scale are Insured for lost shipments - they bear the cost.

A ups driver claimed that he would have to pay the value of the shipment and said that it was not fair.
