Meta Quest help - whereisdad - 10-25-2022
Hello everyone, hope your day is going well. I'm new to this whole scene have not completed an eb or dna, however I am working on doing one on amazon.
I want to get a meta quest 2 but I'm not sure whether to go through amazon or meta itself, also should I do eb or dna? I live in an apartment complex and all packages get scanned into the mail room where there are cameras. Also should I use PayPal just in case meta doesn't want to refund me?

There is a very low chance of Amazon contacting your apartment complex, you can either do DNA or EB.
I recommend going for meta, preferably around Christmas because that is when they are busiest and flooded with support emails, they will be under a LOT of stress.

I mean sure you can do it during black friday, but the reward of refunding will be less. I would save a paypal claim for something more expensive. but if you want to go ahead.

Drivers drop off packages at the mail room unless they can fit in our mailboxes. The office staff has access and residents need to scan a QR code from an email to get into the package room.

People are still reporting success after success when claiming EB on Meta itself.
You might want to pay with PayPal nonetheless

No reason to waste an Amazon SE for something you can get from Meta so easily, and since it's EB the mail room thing doesn't matter at all, you will receive your package perfectly sealed and intact, but apparently they forgot to put the item inside... mistakes happen!
Paypal will give you an extra safety net, you can use it to pay (maybe make sure the PP account email isn't the same as your Meta account) but only open a claim with them if meta really refuses the refund
