SteelSeries Headphone SE - HELP - sko - 09-26-2022

My first ever SE.

So I've found a serial number and managed to forge a POP for a pair of SteelSeries headphones. They havent asked me for POP yet but they should soon which I am prepared for. What I am not prepared for however is what to do afterwards, i.e. they may ask me to send back the headphones (which I don't have) or take a POD video or perhaps something else still.

Any help would be appreciated or maybe even an excuse to dispose of them.

Quick Side Note - (their policy on warranty returns)

For all warranty claims a valid proof of purchase is required.
Upon approval, the specialist will instruct you with one, or both, of the steps below:

Destroy on Site: You will be provided with instructions on how to physically destroy the product. It is important that you do not recycle the product until you receive a replacement. (See below for information on recycling)
Return Process: You may be required to ship the product in. This may include shipping in a destroyed product.

I opted to make a POP from curry’s pc world (a uk tech store) so hopefully that will help my chances.

Do keep us updated.

Quick update: Have now sent off POP and photos of the product (from ebay!).
I've been careful to edit metadata and craft a cohesive story now lets hope they dont cross-check the order number...

You've covered every angle with the POP, well done with that.

Now we wait for their reply.

Another update, unlike what I’ve been told would happen I’ve sent off my POP and they haven’t flagged it for being fraudulent yet…
What they have done is ask for more pictures of the product then what they’ve originally asked. I suspect they’re familiar with image sizes from eBay which are what I’ve sent and so they may have some suspicions. I’m attempting to contact various eBay sellers selling the said headphones and SE them I too providing with the specific photo they have asked for and I can photoshop it from there.

I’ll keep the thread updated

What have they specifically requested?

If that's the case, they wouldn't be asking for more photos - they'd most likely terminate the claim.

Alter the Images to make It appear as though they're dedicated to your SE.

The headphones in attempting to SE has two parts to it, a base as well as the actual headset, they’ve requested a picture with both in view along with their serial numbers, still in the process of contacting various eBay sellers
