Quest EB - Do they still work? - andrewtate - 09-10-2022

Hey,
seemingly a lot of people have EB'd Meta and gotten a Quest since the beginning of this year. How is it going, did anything happen? I've seen a few people say their accounts got suspended, I would like to get a picture of how likely that is going to happen.

i got my refund yesterday, i´ll wait till the money is in my acc and then a little more before turning them on tho. I did EB and the process took about a week.

I got my Oculus account (not Facebook) banned, but since the introduction of Meta accounts I've been able to use my headset to its full capacity once again.
I can't foresee whether they'll notice I've kept using a blacklisted device but hey, not a big issue anyway

Unlikely as a direct result of a one-off claim for missing goods.

There may've been other factors that contributed to the account's suspension.

Ive seen people report some devices blacklisted, but usually not as a one off device. You can do multiple per order.

I'm not surprised.

They do have the capacity to track the device by Its serial number and see If It's In use. If It's found to be active, I don't need to explain what happens next.

Would you recommend chat or email? Did you say anything specific to make it more believable or do they just not give a fuck? Seems so weird that they still don't check weights

Has anyone hit big with them? I mean the 250gb version. Plus case. Battery, charging Dock... Over 700gbp??
