EB'd earbuds - Safe to sell? - andrewtate - 09-07-2022 I EB'd Bose earbuds, are they safe to sell? Let's just say that someone contacts support and gives them the serial number, even though I wrote that the warranty expired, would something be done? I'd prefer to sell them on my real eBay account, the items are associated to my real name. RE: EB'd earbuds - Safe to sell? - Ordnael92 - 09-07-2022 It's quite unlikely to happen. Yet, If you're worried about such an event, just do an item swap after purchasing the same item from a different store (return the SEd pair for a legit refund, keep the freshly-bought one) RE: EB'd earbuds - Safe to sell? - mothered - 09-07-2022 Quote:I EB'd Bose earbuds, are they safe to sell?Always use fake credentials when Intending to buy & sell tech-based Items with Identifiable details - serials and IMEIs. Quote:I EB'd Bose earbuds, are they safe to sell?As @Ordnael92 mentioned above, It's very unlikely but It's not to say It won't happen. Personally, I wouldn't be too concerned about It. Even if Bose finds out, will they do anything about it for a $200 item? The manpower and administration costs, significantly outweighs the cost of the Item. If I were to swap the headphones I.e order another pair from a different retailer, would the retailer be able to track the serial number and identify that I have swapped the pairs over? Perhaps @mothered may have some insight? |
