Question about sealed box method - Alexsmith49 - 09-06-2022

Hi guys. I just read about the sealed box method and I am considering trying it but I just had a question. When my fake return gets added back into the companies inventory, will it then be sold to another customer again? And this customer will complain that he received a dummy phone or random items that match the weight of the item. Can it be tracked back to me?

Who's to say the buyer that purchased your return Isn't an SE'er, and Is attempting to SE the company by claiming a different Item was enclosed to what was originally ordered?

Who's to say the buyer that purchased your return Isn't an SE'er, and Is attempting to SE the company by claiming a different Item was enclosed to what was originally ordered?

Thats a good point, however wouldnt the company just ask him to return it? And what about in the case that he is just a legit buyer and he buys my return.

Absolutely.

But as said, he may well be a social engineer, hence the responsibility Is put on him.

The item would go through many hands to be placed back in inventory and then in the hands of another customer. As long as you've resealed the box properly and there's no signs of tampering whatsoever, it'll be hard to  link it back to you.

Would you be able to tell me what the difference in weight can be between my return and the actual products weight or do they have to be the exact same time?

You’d want the weight variance to be as small as possible, anything under 70g is good I’d say.

Thank you very much. If you dont mind I just have one more question, sorry to bother you but I wanted to test the method for the first time with apple air pods. Will I be able to get away with it by replacing the airpods with the wireless lenovo airbuds which are like airpod fakes? Sorry if I have a lot of questions which seem dumb its just my first time trying the method.

Why would you waste another pair of earbuds in order to SE a pair of AirPods? They're so light you can easily claim EB on them, no need to go for a sealed box in this case

Yeah I know it’s because I want to test the method and I just want to try it for the first time and also the lenovo airbuds cost like £4 on tiktok shop
