2 More bugs? - Defeat - 08-28-2022

1. As I mentioned in a post about the 5 posts viewing per guest, it doesn't actually work. All you have to do is go on a private tab. Boom, you can see as many posts as you can without logging in. I don't know if it's meant to be like that or if it's supposed to be IP specific. If it is the latter, it doesn't work. Please fix it. If it's the former, we'll never get new registrations because it's extremely easy to bypass.
2. I've set my online status under Privacy as
Hide me from the Who's Online list.
It does not work. While I was on private testing bug #1 on this thread, I saw my account listed online as a guest! Wtf lol? Let's get that fixed please.

I'll continue to report bugs (these may not be bugs but they're a little concerning since certain things are in place but they're not working) as I see them. Hopefully you get a chance to have a look at them at some point @Oni.

The number of posts you've viewed as a guest is stored as a cookie in the browser. This is 100% intentional, as the alternatives are much worse. Unfortunately, opening a private window will result in those cookies being wiped.

#1 Thank you for confirming that's how it works. I figured it was cookies related and not IP but wasn't 100% sure how complex of a block it was.
#2 I've sent you a screenshot on Discord. Idk if it's only on mobile but the 1 time I checked I could see my account without the *
