SEing luxury tea - Bruhmomento1337 - 08-27-2022

Hey everyone lmao i got this brilliant idea of trying to refund TWG tea which is crazy expensive, I don't know many excuses that would work on tea but here are my ideas for anyone looking to do the same

Tea arrived with the teabags broken (possibly due to the heat or something)

loose tea leaves arrived with dirt or unwanted residue

Any more suggestions?

Surprisingly even though the quantity of tea is only 25-50 grams, most of the packages are 160+ grams i guess because of the fancy packaging or whatever so i wasn't too sure on this

Really? On Amazon I found many listings weighing 100 gr, 37.5 gr...
I know that might be the net weight of the tea itself, but it's going to be Amazon's bad if they don't keep the tin can into consideration Wink2

No idea, though seems like the empty box method is very meh for these type of stuff as literally any complaint with the tea and you'll have it for free because amazon doesn't return food items or whatever they instead do a returnless refund

I haven't done tea, but I have had some luck getting a refund on food products by saying they made me sick. I think your ideas are good. For broken tea bag, you could open one up and take a photo, and say they were all like that. Or maybe say there were bugs in the box or something. Food products are pretty easy to get the a refund for because they usually won't want it back.

Bear In mind you're purely SEing the tea, and not Its entire packaging.
