Apple watch SE advice - doktorenfradk - 08-14-2022
Hey guys.
So i did one succesfull missing item and went to another local store (online) and tried to do them - its an apple watch series 7, and they're asking for the imei number on the packaging, but i already sold the watch. What advice do you have? Should i take the loss? (i didnt give the buyer the reciept) or should i say ''hey man, mabye i can get the reciept for you if you send me the imei number'' and then send it to the store?
What can they do with the imei number or could i give them a fake one? Its a GPS only

Haven't you got a receipt from the store where you bought the watch initially?

Yes, i got that reciept. But what can i use that for? I dont think the imei is on that
Or: theyre asking for a picture of the imei on the parcel product. I could say i threw that out mabye?

I would look up the original receipt first, maybe it's on there (usually).

I dont see any Imei number on that nope. only the item name

After pushing through telling them its a gift and i waited 10 days, they offered me refund or new one
