When will DHL come after me? - BiggusDiggus - 07-28-2022

Ive been SE'ing a few of items in the past two months and pretty much every time it was in the end somehow blamed on DHL. Either DNA or item missing do to damage. Its five cases for DHL at the moment which all involve my name. In total its roughly damage of 1k a little over probably.

So the simple question is what will they do? I mean i am only the receiver, but still, my name is involved. Dont they have some kind of system where they see people who exceptionally often involved in problem like that? And what could happen?

My worst fear is of a search warrant for my house. Did that happen to anyone here?

Of course this is only SE Fan Fiction here, nothing of that ever happened in reality.

There's no way they're gonna raid your house

Worst case scenario, they'll stop servicing you and require you to pickup your items at their depot, showing ID and all, at least IMO

Over what period of time did It take place?

When claiming a high volume of nonreceipt of goods with the same carrier, It's your address that's under the microscope.

Records are kept of consignor & consignee details with every consignment, thereby they know precisely the number of claims for missing packages/Items.

There's no definitive answer - too many variables Involved.

A couple of possibilities, Is your address being flagged/blacklisted or In the absolute worst-case scenario, legal action may be taken.

This all happened within the last two months. Worst case scenario is legal actions. That again would mean it could involve a seach warrant as part of as Investigation.

Would I be on the safe side if I let my packages be delivered to someone else either in my name or in someone elses name?

Switching it up couldn't hurt.

If they've only lost 1K, then pursuing legal action would not be profitable.

You should consider that you could have bought those items anywhere. Maybe you bought them after they were lost in transit. You wanted them in the first place, after all.
