Walmart Advice - nne - 07-28-2022
So want to DNA a walmart laptop, the email says that a signature is required (I live in an apartment complex). I created a note and placed it on the door, stating that they should leave it at the door and i'll be out shortly to get it. Do you guys think this is necessary? (Shipped via FedEx)

@nne It is not necessary, sign with a false signature or a false name, the one who could give you an exact advice would be @mothered

You don't even need a note, answer the doorbell and tell them to leave it there as you're showering
Then, when you finally get down, the package is gone, for some reason

If "you" Instruct to leave the package at a given location, you'll be responsible for the lost shipment.

Right, thank you. Took the note off the door and I'll do as the guy above says if they ask for a siggy. I'll update u guys

Update! He left the pkg w/o signature and also decided to step on my package as there's a large dent in it! (no dmg to the actual laptop box inside tho). I'll continue updating

Hey, sorry for the constant questions but this is my first SE haha. Got an option to either refund the item or request another, wondering if i should press one of the options or chat with an actual agent.

Another update, walmart said they're unable to refund due to there being a signature. Not sure where to go from here.
