Using amazon in another country - stevenadams2323 - 07-25-2022

Hi,

So ive just done a large SE with amazon. I have family on holiday in america right now and will be coming back soon (UK),

When i convert my account to the US amazon, all my orders are gone. Does this mean i can do a se on the american amazon and it should be as if its a clean slate?

Just curious to maximise my odds of getting another SE whilst i can in america.

That's what you can see from a client-side standpoint.

Amazon still has records of all transactions on the account.

Your account is aged in the US version as well, but without orders
If you place a small order, it'll be easier to do a SE a day or so after it

Correct.

If you don't give them reason to check, they won't.

Most amazon reps are brain dead tbf.

If it’s not too suspicious i.E. a huge item being DNA’ed I’m sure it should work fine. My fitness done it before but let’s see.

Might do a MacBook or iPad there. Just did a laptop now though so ima order something small on the US amazon account and then try get a big time to SE

Spot-on.

They fail to see logic at the best of times.

Hey, Steve! How did this work out for you?

I’m hoping to do the same being based in Aus but having done a DNA from Amazon US previously. Did this work out for you at all or did you just let it be and stick to Amazon UK?

You can do it without problems, just keep in mind a PR will most likely be needed so if you're a tourist it could be a pain to go to a police station to have one filled out
