Fitbit bands - Andrea Bags - 07-18-2022

Go to chat say you got a rash they'll offer you a new band right away. You get a link decide on which kind and colour and you're all done. Enjoy your new band.

No photos or PoP required? Sounds pretty good

Is It a one-off experience, or have you tried It several times?

RE: Fitbit bands - Nabeshin - 07-18-2022

I see there's quite a range of items, and prices, have you tried this yourself? And what was the price of the item you claimed was defective?
Just wondering if I could attempt this with a watch

RE: Fitbit bands - batdark - 07-18-2022

I tried with their support and telling that I got a rash on my skin, at first they tell to clean the band with alcohol and let it dry, if you insist they need a email linked to the band, so here I'm :'(

Correct, I meant smartwatch of course, since Fitbit does those as well and I don't really need yet another steps tracker but i could surely use a nice smartwatch

Yes you need an email linked to the Fitbit.

They are maybe the worse smart watch on the market. They send out so many replacements as they always break.

You do not need to email support I just did this. Say you read the care guide and they transfer you to another team in the same chat and they ask a few questions. The band they are sending me is about $40

yes I think you can because they asked me if the rash was under the the device or band. I said band and they helped right away but with device it might not be instant

no but I did just buy a watch so they know that much and for Fitbit you have to login to an account to talk to them on chat so they will know if you have a watch or not I guess

go back and tell them you read the guide before so they can transfer you to another team on chat

Can confirm this works on both bands and smartwatches but with the smartwatch they'll send you a label to return it to them for a cheque.
