You can sign up for a month or however long and contact them directly about not authorizing the transaction whenever you are done with the paid service and they will refund and cancel the upgrade no questions asked just did it now

Seems like a good way to get banned, honestly. Tinder, from what I've seen, hands out bans for the slightest infractions.
Although, I can't say I've heard of any consequences from doing this in particular.

This has been around for years. Can just tell them you purchased it by mistake and they will refund you.
Not really an SE tip but rather a tip for Tinder. If you want to use the passport feature without paying download a fake GPS app on your phone and spoof your location. Change your location to various spots around the world and you'll get way more likes/matches, now obviously most of these aren't useful unless your going to be travelling to that location but it will naturally boost your tinder 'score' for when you return to your actual location meaning you'll be seen a lot more and should receive more matches close to you as well.
