Questions about boxing - GOATEDGOD6969 - 07-09-2022

From what I understand the best way to SE a GPU from amazon (assuming they OTP you) is to box it.
But what do you put inside the box to equal the weight of the GPU?
At some point someone is going to open the box and if they find a brick inside or something won't the system eventually point back to you?

Dry Ice Is a common commodity as a weight substitute.

In the article boxing without dry ice:
"The examples that I've provided for this method, being the packaging tape and shrink wrap clear film, Is not limited to this alone. Basically, you can use any essential needs that carriers, warehouses and storage facilities work with as part of their employment. It's not hard at all to come up with something, so be creative with your judgement and selection."
Is that outdated?
I read that they now have CCTV's everywhere watching the workers can't swipe GPU's.

No.

I mentioned: "dry Ice Is a common commodity", hence It's not "the only commodity".

I'm not good at editing the threads.

I understand what you mean, fill the box with common commodity's a worker would have to make it look like the worker stole it. That is a great idea.
But if they have CCTV's they can just check the footage to see that nothing was stolen right? Thus SE failed.

"Are you referring to Amazon?"
Yea.
I read they have CCTV's in the warehouses and they check them if you do an SE that leads them to believe the worker stole it.
Am I wrong about that or thinking of another company?
Or maybe it's the shipping companies?
This question made me realize how little I know about how the logistics.

You're boxing the company, whereby the goods are stolen In transit.

How Is It possible to capture the footage via CCTV while the package Is travelling through the carrier's network?

Where did you read It?

To this day, the EB/missing Item method works with a very high success rate. If Amazon has CCTV cameras In place, It would fail on almost every occasion.

You are 100% right. I can't find any place that says that.
This stuff is so interesting but reading about it is making me crazy and now I'm reading stories that don't exist.
Thanks for explaining. Smile
