B l u e mic SN SE - kissedmoon - 07-06-2022 Product name: yeti. - I contacted via a form (no phone available in my country) about a mic that won't turn on. I only provided the model, no SN and nothing else. - They replied with troubleshooting instructions (try a different cable, try a different device). I told them I tried with a different cable, tried on another one of my devices and even a comrade's device and no luck. They also asked what's the exact problem. I told them the LED light that signals whether the device is on or off won't turn on. I've already downloaded an image that shows the SN and asked the seller when it was bought, so I'd make sure it's still under the 2-year warranty. I read somewhere that I shouldn't use a fake POP in case they verify it. I can ask the seller to send it, but the app doesn't allow to exchange anything other than texts + the POP would show a different name than the fake email I'm using. The store he bought it from is still active to this day and works predominantly online. This brand is under Lo gi te ch FYI. RE: B l u e mic SN SE - b074k1 - 07-06-2022 It's ok to use someone's POP as item could be a gift. Location not matching the replacement address can be caused by you simply moving. True, but how can this person send me a picture of the POP if the app doesn't allow it? SE them into sending it via mail. Had some people do that for me before. Social engineering is not only refunds. I gave him an email (not the one I'm using for SE) to send me POP update: they've asked me to provide: - POP: seller has sent me POP with prices and personal data (other than full name) whitened out - SN: got it - picture of SN: grabbed the one from the second-hand seller - picture that shows the entire mic with a piece of paper with date and ticket #: 1st time using photoshop for this purpose, I need feedback -- https://imgur.com/a/4PJVARA - full name, address and phone number in case the carrier needs to contact me I don't know if this means they'll schedule a pick-up for the "defective" item or if they'll send a new one my way... I will be using my own address since I cannot use a drop addy @mothered I'd appreciate your expertise edit: typo and added more info RE: B l u e mic SN SE - mothered - 07-08-2022 (07-07-2022, 06:06 PM)kissedmoon Wrote: it's an individual seller who's selling used mic. It's not good practice to Involve Individual sellers. Why would it? He told me he's not using it anymore that's why he wants to sell it. If not for individual sellers, how would I obtain the POP and SN? I'm genuinely asking. POP can be faked or recieved as a gift. RE: B l u e mic SN SE - kissedmoon - 07-08-2022 (07-08-2022, 11:31 AM)Wares Wrote:(07-08-2022, 11:28 AM)kissedmoon Wrote: Why would it? As for SN go in stores for example and get one there. POP can be faked or recieved as a gift. The mic is not sold in-store here, you have to order it online. As for the POP, I'm afraid they'll verify it and realise it's fake. I can't say the gift excuse because POP is mandatory. That's why I sourced the SN from an individual seller. |
