Amazon third party verification - BitPlayer - 06-21-2022

I’m aware that some companies contact Amazon to verify purchases as part of their process for considering warranty claims. Does anyone know what specific information Amazon is permitted to provide and, importantly, what information they don’t or cannot provide? For example, when editing invoices is it best to keep some of the original information (invoice number and date) as this will register a match, or does Amazon provide the full invoice details including product and price? Thanks

Anything related to verify the POP.
  • Order number
  • Invoice number
  • Date of purchase
  • Item description
  • Receiver details
  • Total/subtotal
  • Etc

The payment method account number.

In fact, for security and privacy purposes, Amazon's representatives can only see the first 6 digits - known as the Bank Identification Number, "BIN".
